Premier Redford releases expenses report

Premier Alison Redford has released details of her expenses dating back four years.
She says releasing the report is a step toward greater transparency.
The expenses date back to 2008, when she became an member of the legislature.
The charges include $12,504.31 spent on first-class airfare to and from Hong Kong and $1,280 for photos taken while there.
There’s also a $934 hotel room in Washington, D.C., and an annual membership renewal to the Law Society of Alberta.
The premier’s receipts released Tuesday do not include those from her most recent trip to the London Olympics.
That trip cost taxpayers more than $500,000, including $114,000 on unused hotel rooms.
