Veterans offended over ‘makeout party’

Veterans are disgusted at a Calgary bar’s plan for Remembrance Day.
The Beltline-area bar, Local 510, is hosting what it’s calling a “Remembrance Day Makeout Party.”
One former NATO soldier and peacekeeper tells the Calgary Sun, the event is disrespectful and offensive.
At least one young patron of the bar agrees, saying he finds it ‘tasteless’ and that he won’t be going back there.
No one from the tavern has been available for comment so far.
