Police ask public for help after violent NE robbery

Calgary police are looking for the public’s help in locating a suspect wanted in a violent robbery in the northeast early Wednesday.
Police say a man walked into a convenience store in the 6000 Block of Memorial Drive N.E. just before 3 a.m. and demanded cash from the clerk at gunpoint.
The suspect hit the clerk in the head with the gun when they refused to cooperate and made off with the cash register.
The suspect is described as white, between 30-35 years old, 5’9″ with a medium build and a goatee, wearing a dark hoodie, jeans and white shoes at the time.
The attack was caught on camera and police are hoping someone will come forward after viewing the video.
