Alpine skier Lindsey Vonn wants to know how she’ll stack up against the men in Lake Louise.
The four-time overall World Cup champ is hoping to compete at the season opening race on November 24, on the men’s track.
The ski world is abuzz with the idea; many say it could give more exposure to the sport.
Downhiller Kelly VanderBeek tells The Calgary Sun she’s curious to see how Vonn will do.
Vonn has yet to submit a formal application, but if she’s allowed to compete she would have to sit out during the women’s competition the following week.
