A homeless Calgary woman has turned in $10-thousand in a purse she found on the street.
The Calgary Sun reports, she found the purse leaning against the side of a vehicle at Rocky Mountain Plaza, at Macleod Trail and 7th Ave S.E. just before 11 o’clock Thursday morning.
She opened the purse to find a phone number to call and was surprised by the amount of money inside.
The woman and her case manager counted it out and called police.
There’s no word yet whether the owner of the purse will offer her a reward for finding it.
