Cyclist injured in southeast collision

A cyclist has been sent to hospital after being hit by an SUV in the city’s southeast.

Police say the cyclist was travelling Eastbound on Millican Rd. Southeast near 19th St. around 4:30 Monday afternoon and was struck by the turning vehicle.

The cyclist suffered severe injuries to their foot and leg.

The driver was not injured.
