Maclean’s out with its annual university rankings

TORONTO, Ont. – Maclean’s magazine has released its annual list of top universities in Canada.
University of Toronto ranked in third place in the medical doctoral category, while York University ranked in eight spot in the comprehensive ranking category.
The universities are ranked in three different categories:
Maclean’s editor Mary Dwyer said it’s a big decision for students.
“Try to get as much information as possible before they make their decision. It is a big investment of time and money, and hopefully they’ll find our articles and rankings will give them a good starting place,” Dwyer said.
