Police search for second man in Bridgeland murder

There are new developments in the homicide of a 26-year old in Bridgeland as police confirm they are now looking for a second man after charging one person with manslaughter.
Not much is known about the suspect and investigators say they’re still trying to confirm his identity and add, charges are likely to be laid against him.
At this point, 43-year old Robert Daniel Morrison of Calgary, who is known to police, is charged with one count of manslaughter.
Police say both the victim and his attacker had some sort of on-going feud.
It’s still unclear what sparked the fight but investigators have ruled out drugs.
Staff Sergeant Doug Andrus says they believe alcohol may be involved.
Four others were in the house at the time and are being described as somewhat cooperative.
“It was a get together of a number of individuals who knew each other. I’m not going to say it was a party, but it was a gathering,” says Andrus.
Officers had responded to 11 calls for noise complaints this year to the house in question.
On Tuesday afternoon, officers were called to a home in the 200 block of 11th Street northeast after reports of an assault.
When they arrived, they found Isaac Patrick Crowchild dead.
An autopsy later confirmed he died as a result of stab wounds.
