The day after Americans decide who will sit in the President’s chair at the White House for the next four years, Calgarians will learn the intentions of Mayor Naheed Nenshi.
The Mayor will make his intentions known concerning the next municipal election — in October, 2013 — at around 2 p.m.
Nenshi won a first-term as Mayor of the city in October 2010, becoming the first Muslim mayor in Canada in a mayoralty battle that included favourites Barb Higgins, the former television news anchor, and then-alderman Ric McIver.
