Wind, cold temps expected after big snowfall

A snowfall warning remains in effect for Calgary and a winter storm warning has been issued for areas south of the city.

Expect more high winds, and even lower temperatures.

Five centimetres more snow will fall Friday, but the storm is starting to wind down in Calgary and is moving to the east.

660News Meteorologist David Spence says as the snow ends, Calgarians will have to bundle up; the temperatures are going to fall throughout the day and will remain in the -20’s.

The storm is going to affect the entire southern part of the prairies.

There are either snowfall warnings or winter storm warnings out through the southern parts of Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba.
