A final candidates debate was held in Calgary-Centre before tomorrow’s federal byelection.
It was standing room only as the four main contenders faced off at a southwest community hall.
Once again the Liberal, Green and NDP candidates attacked Conservative candidate Joan Crockatt for failing to attend other community forums.
Crockatt reiterated that she’s been focusing on constituents and has knocked on more than 15-thousand doors during her campaign.
A Liberal has not be elected in the riding since 1968, but the race has attracted some high-level interest from federal party leaders.
The seat came open earlier this year when lee Richardson stepped down to work for the provincial government of premier Alison Redford.
