Record sales Black Friday weekend top $1 billion

Shoppers took advantage of Black Friday sales on the weekend.

Online shopping records were smashed with profits topping one billion dollars.

According to The Calgary Sun, Amazon.com was the most visited website on November 23rd; with Walmart, Best Buy, Target and Apple close behind.

Cyber Monday is growing at an even faster pace and some predict it will eclipse Boxing Day in Canada, because Christmas isn’t over yet, Canadians and Americans are looking for a good deal on gifts.
