Premier getting fed up with accusations

Premier Alison Redford says she is disappointed with the opposition accusing her of lying about her involvement in a lawsuit against big tobacco.
Thursday the NDP called for her to step down, and Friday the Liberals asked for an independent inquiry to find out once and for all if Redford awarded her ex-husband’s law firm the contract.
Redford says this is getting silly.
“I am frankly disappointed that this is what we are spending our time in question period talking about,” said Redford.
She adds, the state of political discourse in the province has reached her young daughter on the playground.
“My daughter came home from school and said that one of the kids in the playground must have seen the news story about the missing posters, I don’t know if you saw this in the legislature, there is a poster ‘Wanted, Premier missing from question period’, and she said one of the kids in the playground said your mommy’s missing and Sarah said no she’s not, she’s in Edmonton. I mean, this is getting silly.”
The premier stands by her word, saying she was not the one that made the final decision to give the contract to her ex’s law firm.
