CPS inspect shoe boxes

Calgary police spent hours inspecting shoe boxes that will go to children in need around the world.

The shoe boxes for Operation Christmas Child are filled with hygiene items, school supplies, toys and candy and were donated by people across the country.

Donors were also encouraged to send along a note and photo.

Officers are making sure all the items in the shoe boxes are safe and appropriate for the child who will receive it.
