A Calgary police officer has walked away uninjured after rolling her vehicle in Okotoks in pursuit of what police thought was a stolen vehicle.
CPS say the officer was following the car out of Calgary on Highway 2 around 8:30 Sunday when it happened.
When she approached the exit to Okotoks, weather conditions caused her to lose control of the cruiser, rolling several times before ending up on its roof.
The officer was trapped inside and had to be rescued by emergency crews.
The Calgary Herald reports the vehicle they were following turned out to be reported in error.
