The fate of Calgary’s largest soccer complex remains up in the air.
The current lease agreement between the city and the Calgary Soccer Federation which manages the Subway Soccer Centre in the southeast is set to expire at the end of the month.
Unconfirmed reports say council has already decided to pass on renewing the lease with the federation.
But the president of the federation, Angus Smith, tells The Calgary Sun talks are still ongoing.
The city and the federation refuse to comment any further.
