MADD Canada says drunk drivers are not getting the message

The head of MADD Canada says she’s absolutely frustrated over the high number of recent alleged drunk driving crashes in the Calgary area, including one that claimed the life of a 17-year-old from Cochrane.

Denise Dubyk tells The Calgary Sun she’s heartbroken people aren’t getting the message, adding they don’t realize their consequences.

Police allege a drunk driver crashed head-on into Brandon Thomas’s vehicle on Highway 22 on Thursday, December 6th.

On Saturday, December 8th, a man was sent to hospital with serious injuries after his car was T-boned by an alleged drunk driver in the northeast as well.
