The Salvation Army is teaming up with Canada Post to deliver Christmas cheer to families in Calgary who aren’t able to buy toys and gifts for their kids.
Employees at Canada Post will tag donated toys for boys and girls in a number of age ranges, all part of the Army’s Angel Giving Tree Tag program.
Friday morning, The Salvation Army will be at the Chinook Centre Canada Post location to collect the donations of new, unwrapped toys to deliver.
Last year, The Salvation Army helped over 2,900 at Christmas and gave toys to over 7,000 children and teens.
