Alberta is one of the provinces making the Canadian Federation of Independent Business’ naughty list this year.
The federation is sharing its list of the best and worst developments affecting small business this year; it says Alberta, along with Manitoba and Newfoundland, may be getting coal in its stocking.
The CFIB says all three provinces introduced policies in 2012 that hurt small business and the economy.
At the top of the nice list were the Ontario, Quebec and New Brunswick governments for cutting red tape for small businesses.
