Recycle your VCR for a good cause

A new channel has hit the airwaves and the company behind it is running a unique program to promote it.

‘Rewind’ is currently in free preview on cable and satellite providers and features classic movies and shows, thereby making VCRs obsolete according to executives of the new channel.

So, spokesperson Chris Fouco says they are taking your VCR and recycling it with $25 being donated to the World Wildlife Fund for each unit.

They are set-up at Southcentre Mall during shopping hours Saturday, and anybody that stops by can also enter to win $2000.
