A 42 year old man is facing multiple charges after an attack in the northwest Sunday morning.
Police say they got the call around 1:45 a.m. to a home in the 100 block of Royal Oak Drive.
That’s where they found the victim, about 60 years old, in critical, life-threatening condition.
Duty Inspector Keith Cain tells 660News the victim’s condition has not improved since he was rushed to hospital.
Shaun Peter Desautels has been charged with Uttering Threats and Aggravated Assault and will make his first court appearance on January 11th.
Due to the seriousness of the victim’s injuries, police say the Homicide Unit is handling the investigation.
