Arrest made in local MMA fighter’s death

A man is now in police custody in connection with the stabbing death of a Calgary MMA fighter.
Former mixed martial artist Wyatt Lewis was killed in September outside an apartment building on 16th Ave. N.W.
Police say a fight broke out at a gathering of around 15 people and spilled out into the street.
Witnesses say 37-year-old Lewis was trying to protect a friend when he was killed.
Police have not confirmed whether charges have been laid.
