A situation at an Airdrie pub has Calgary police working with local RCMP to try and capture a couple men on a crime spree which began at 9 o’clock Saturday morning.
Alex, a 660 listener explains what he sees at the situation.
“There is a tactical unit around and fire, ambulance, everybody has made a large perimeter around the city,” says Alex.
The spree started when a truck fled from a traffic stop, with police saying two men inside the vehicle then went on to commit three robberies and other offences.
The duo then fled to Airdrie where the situation is currently developing.
Listener Alex adds the suspect’s vehicle rolled off the ramp from the QE2 on to Yankee Valley blvd where they then fled on foot to the pub.
