Visitors to Banff and Lake Louise can now track their progress on the slopes.
A new app by Banff-Lake Louise tourism will allow skiers and snowboarders to track everything from maximum speed to vertical feet, or even calories burned.
Director of Marketing Kurt Schroeder says skiers will now have the stats to back up their bragging.
He says it’s easy to use; just click once at the beginning of the day and leave it in your pocket.
According to The Calgary Sun, users will also be able to earn medals for hitting various milestones and degrees of difficulty on each hill.
