The family of a Lethbridge man murdered last week says he was being treated for cancer.
George Span’s father, Robert, says he’s struggling to understand why his son was killed and that his son’s treatment was going well.
Span was found stabbed to death January 14th at his home in Lethbridge, after a friend concerned for his well being contacted police.
Police have not identified a motive, but say the crime was targeted.
The Calgary Herald reports, Span’s family is asking donations be made to the Canadian Cancer Society in his honour.
