STARS & Spurs Gala breaks fundraising records

STARS Air Ambulance is overwhelmed with the record breaking fundraiser that took place Saturday in Calgary.
The 19th annual STARS and Spurs Gala raised over $1-million to support STARS.
CEO Andrea Robertson says it’s the most they’ve ever raised at a single event.
Robertson says she’s humbled at the generosity of the almost 1,000 Calgarians that attended.
The Calgary Sun reports the gala also honoured flight paramedic Ken King, who has flown in over 1,000 life saving missions with STARS.
