A problem affecting the Visa system that prevented consumers from using their credit cards on Monday afternoon is now over.
The network issue was reportedly countrywide by people with cards issued by various banks.
Listeners had reported having Visa cards rejected.
I got declined and I didn’t have enough cash with me so I was a little bit embarrassed,” one woman said after having her Visa rejected during a transaction.
