Canadians buying bling for V-day on eBay

More Canadians are showing their love this Valentine’s day by shelling out big bucks on eBay.

A new survey by eBay Canada finds while lingerie sales are down compared to last year, more online shoppers are snapping up diamond jewellery for their sweethearts.

An engagement ring or loose diamond has been bought every 2.3 seconds on the site in the lead up to February 14th.

The survey also found the Prairie Provinces were spending the most on bling.

Quebecers however were sticking to lingerie, purchasing the most panties in the country.
