The search for a missing Calgary woman is being ramped up.
Friends and family will be meeting at the St. Michael Church in the city’s southwest at 10:00 a.m. in hopes of finding Sandra Mykytiuk-Evans.
The 56 year old went missing in late December and is said to suffer from depression.
The Calgary area teacher was last seen around 6:00 p.m. on December 29th at her Strathcona home.
For nearly six weeks now her daughters have been scouring city streets and handing out missing person posters while hoping for their mothers safe return.
Despite her medical condition the family says the woman was in good spirits as of late and the disappearance is completely out of character,
Even though police are receiving nearly 100 tips a day surrounding the case no concrete leads have been found and foul play is not suspected.
If you know the whereabouts of Sandra your encouraged to contact police or if you would like to help in the search you can sign up this morning at 800 85 St S.W.
Hundreds of volunteers are expected to help with the cause.
