Increased jail time for street racer

Alberta’s top court says a Calgary street racer convicted of injuring two people was not punished enough.
A three member Alberta Court of Appeal panel says the 9 months jail time handed to Justin Gould for dangerous driving causing bodily harm for a 2008 incident was not adequate.
The Calgary Sun reports the panel has ordered Gould to spend another 3 months in prison.
Gould’s street racing opponent, Timmothy Field was handed a 15 month sentence after his vehicle spun out of control on MacLeod Trail Field, hit oncoming traffic injuring his passenger and another woman.
