Police spent a lot of time tracking down the driver of a stolen vehicle.
Duty Inspector Keith Cain tells 660News, around 9 p.m. officers tried to pull over a car in the Harvest Hills area when the driver took off.
“The marked unit pulled over and stopped and then our HAWC helicopter took over and followed the vehicle for over an hour, mainly in Northeast Calgary, but finally the driver went down south to the area of Elbow Dr. and 58 Ave and tried to dump the vehicle in an underground parkade.”
Cain says once the vehicle came to a stop, officers moved in and made an arrest.
Charges are expected to be laid.
