May long weekend campsites are going fast.
The province opened online booking at 9 a.m. Tuesday and in the first two hours more than 2,800 sites had been snapped up.
Susan Johnson with tourism, parks and recreation tells 660News they have four new campgrounds this year. She adds, “… And that takes us to 63 provincial campgrounds across the province that have sites available for online reservations.”
You can only book sites 90 days out, which takes the schedule right up to May long.
