Calgarians gather for “Friendship Dinner”

It will be a dinner like no other Thursday night as Calgarians from all walks of life gather in friendship and goodwill.
The Intercultural Dialogue Institute of Calgary is playing host tonight to the 4th Annual Dialogue and Friendship Dinner.
Branch Director Malik Muradov tells 660News this year’s theme is “Building a Cohesive Society through Education” and it will be hosted by Jenny Yu from Omni TV.
“We’re touching on the theme,” he says. “Education is very important to improve cohesion between different people and cultures.”
After tonight, the IDI has organized Black History Month celebrations for next Thursday and an International Women’s Dinner in March.
