Tim Horton’s is feeling the impact of a highly competitive fast food market.
The restaurant is suffering from weak sales growth at stores that have been open a year or more, as well as declining traffic.
Timmies says it expects to bounce back by focusing on an overhaul of their drive thru system, and a focus on new specialty lunch items like Paninis.
Its also planning to continue offering specialty coffees at discount prices.
The company is undergoing restructuring and is still looking for a new CEO.
