Edgemont neighbours barking mad about dog park

Several residents in Edgemont are hot under the collar after a green space in their area was re-designated as an off-leash dog park.
One 69-year-old neighbour claims dogs have overrun what was once a peaceful community nature reserve.
Joanne Brunner says the re-designation has made it so even their backyards aren’t safe from the pups, or the poop littering the field.
The city tells The Calgary Sun dogs have been allowed in the space since the 1980’s, but it wasn’t until 2011 that official signs were put up.
