Shoeless man arrested in break and enter

Calgary police are investigating a bizarre case of break and enter.

Duty Inspector Rick Tuza tells 660News, police got a call from a home in the S.W. community of Glendale Monday night.

Police were told a woman heard a noise inside her house, and found an intruder.

“The husband went downstairs; the offender was in the kitchen. He fled the residence, stealing the bike that was there,” he says. “The responding units picked off the bike and caught him.”

Tuza says the man left his shoes behind at the home.
