Accused molester out on bail

A Calgarian accused of molesting a 13-year-old girl in Washington could be headed back to Calgary, after posting $100,000 bail.

Kitsap County Deputy Sheriff Scott Wilson says Garnet Thomas has been released, pending court proceedings.

Wilson says the large bail sum was paid entirely in cash, which is almost unheard of.

The Calgary Sun reports, the 22-year-old is allowed to return to Canada until his court appearance on April 25th.

Thomas was arrested after being found February 18th in a hotel room in Seattle.
