One of Canada’s most famous astronauts is going to be in Airdrie … sort of.

Grade 9 science classes at Bert Church High School are part of 300 classrooms that will be engaging with Chris Hadfield via video link Monday morning.

Radiation levels on board the International Space Station will be the topic of discussion, as Hadfield explains why they are hundreds of times higher than levels here on earth.

Hadfield will also be talking about other aspects of life and work onboard the space station.
