Spring break child care

Spring is in the air and spring break is around the corner for many Calgary students.

So just what can parents can do if they didn’t register their child into a camp and have to work?

After you have called Grandma, Ellen Percival with Calgary’s Child Magazine recommends parents in the same boat share the child care.

Start by taking a day or two off from work.

“So you take their kids on your two days off and then they take your kids on their two days off or three days off and depending on many parents are involved and how many can participate, you actually can manage.  Believe it or not you can actually have quite a lot of fun and share it,” said Percival.

She says if all else fails, you may have to take the entire week off with your children.
