Three facing 23 charges after drug operation busted

A man and two women occupying a house in Forest Lawn are facing a list of 23 charges for drug trafficking and possessing weapons.

39 year old Collin Oxtoby, 35 year old Rachelle Harkiss, and 44 year old Vivian Curran – all from Calgary – were arrested and charged last week after CPS executed a search warrent on their southeast home.

Officers took meth and heroine from the house as well as a loaded .22-calbire pen gun, ammo, knives, brass knuckles and drug paraphernalia.

CPS say, the pen gun is most concerning – as the modifed weapon can be easily concealed and disguised, and can be deadly at close range.

The National Weapons Enforcement Team is assisting on the case, trying to figure out where the gun came from and if it’s been used in any crimes.
