Community speaks out about Three Sisters project in Canmore

Canmore residents are expressing more concern about a re-development of the Three Sisters Mountain Village.

Residents say the mountain town cannot handle another 10,000 people.

The Calgary Herald reports town council hasn’t made a decision on re-developing and expanding the resort community.

At a public hearing last night, many also expressed concerns about Canmore losing its small town feel.

Officials argue the project will have major economic benefits including millions of dollars in revenue.
