Calgary Police are investigating a possible abduction in the southwest.
Shortly after 8:00 p.m. on Friday, officers responded to reports about a man being forced into a vehicle by the Westhills Cinemas.
Police eventually located the suspect vehicle, finding firearms inside.
But, Detective Greg Mercer says several people ran from police.
He says, “At this point we do have more than one person in custody, and we are still searching for other possible offenders.”
The victim suffered minor injuries.
The investigation is on going.
