For many hockey fans sorry to see Jarome Iginla leave Calgary, it’s the saddest day in Flames history.

What makes it difficult for a lot of fans is that they believe Iggy is the one of the nicest guys in the game.

Others tell 660News they’re ready to see him go, and become a Pittsburgh Penguin.

“I’m disappointed on the one hand, but I hope the best for him, for sure.” One man says.

Another Calgarian calls the move wonderful, especially as an Edmonton Oilers fan.

Many fans admit they’re happy with the decision; at the very least it gives Iginla a shot at the Stanley Cup.
