The Calgary Zoo has an added attraction Friday on top of the already exciting Easter schedule Friday and Saturday.

Globalfest is taking part in the family-friendly weekend fun which includes a birthday party for the Zoo’s one year old tiger cubs on Saturday.

Spokesperson Brian Francisco says the Easter Eggstravaganza is a perfect fit for Globalfest.

“We’re going to be there selling half-price passes to our Globalfest event, as well as providing musical entertainment on two of the stages there,” he explains.

Sadly, there will be no fireworks, but there’s no added cost for any activities at the Zoo.
