Court withdraws warrant against Reynolds

A court has lifted the warrant against former Calgary Stampeders star Joffrey Reynolds.

A warrant for Reynolds’ arrest was put in place by a Calgary traffic court, after he failed to show for two tickets he was handed driving while unauthorized.

The Calgary Sun reports Reynolds showed up Wednesday, pleading guilty to two charges and avoiding jail time.

Had he been tried separately for each charge, Reynolds could have been thrown behind bars.

Reynolds is currently free on bail after being convicted on charges of assault against his ex-girlfriend.
