Prepare for a little Shakespearian flair at the stampede grounds; Cirque Du Soleil’s “Amaluna”, inspired by Shakespeare’s The Tempest, is all ready to kick off Wednesday.
Company manager Jamie Reilly says there’s much more to appreciate beyond the performances.
“It’s everything going around the number, it’s all of the technical limits that took so many years to build and construct and that were made specifically for this show. So those are all absolutely amazing elements.” Reilly says.
“Amaluna” is the first production in cirque history to have a mostly female cast.
