The legal system is not just for criminals; the 31st annual Law Day on Saturday, aims to explain the ins and outs of the courts to Calgarians.

Event Co-Chairman Robert Bourne says they want to make the law a little less intimidating.

The Calgary Sun reports, the Calgary Courts Centre on 5 Street S.W. will be open from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. for the event.

The open house will include tours of the courthouse, a mock family law trial, and real-life CSI demonstrations.
