An Alberta pond has now re-opened after an oil spill into the Red Deer River.
A Plains Midstream Canada pipeline leaked 480,000 litres of sour crude oil into the river last June.
The Calgary Herald reports, the Dickson Trout Pond has finally been given the all-clear, and fishing restrictions were lifted on April 1st.
There are still restrictions in many other areas, as officials continue to monitor contaminant levels and water quality.
