Health bosses reconsidering cuts to veteran parking program

The province’s health minister is changing his tune when it comes to Alberta Health Services’ decision to cut the veterans parking program at hospitals in the province.

Fred Horne now says AHS has handled the issue poorly; only a day after he supported the move.

Horne plans to meet with the Calgary Poppy Fund and other veterans on Monday.

Poppy Fund spokesperson Joey Bleviss says ahs hasn’t done their homework, and hopes the program can be re-instated.
