Water main repairs snarl 17th Ave. S.W.

Snowy road conditions aren’t the only issues hundreds of drivers are dealing with during their Monday morning commute.
City crews are still working to repair water main breaks along 17th Avenue S.W. near 14 Street.
A single eastbound lane is open to drivers, and motorists heading westbound are being detoured to 15th or 16th Streets instead.
The city wants drivers to avoid the area if possible.
Crews say they have no idea when the water main break will be repaired, and afternoon rush hour traffic could also be affected.
